Safari Overview
The 5 Days gorilla and wildlife safari takes for gorilla trekking and wildlife tour to the Uganda’s most visited and interesting park. You will visit Queen Elizabeth National Park for wildlife and chimpanzee tracking and Bwindi impenetrable forest in Uganda where the gorillas live!

Brief Itinerary:
Day 01: Transfer to Bwindi Gorilla Forest.
Day 02: Gorilla tracking and community walk
Day 03: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National park
Day 04: Morning game drive and Chimpanzee tracking
Day 05: Transfer to Kampala

Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Gorilla Forest

The three days gorilla trekking safari in Uganda will start with a morning breakfast at the hotel and drive southwestwards to Bwindi Forest National Park, with stopover at the equator and Mbarara town for lunch. After lunch, you will proceed with the scenic drive to Kabale town, also known as the “witzerland of Africa” and later, connect to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Dinner and overnight will be at Gorilla Forest Camp / Silverback Lodge / Buhoma community Bandas.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking and Community Walk.

In the morning after breakfast at the lodge, you will transfer to the national park headquarters for a short briefing from the park ranger about the rules and regulations while with the gorillas in the jungle. After the briefing, you will enter the forest for a memorable gorilla trekking adventure. The gorilla trekking activity may take 2 – 6 hours depending on the movement of gorillas in their nature environment. Meet and stay with mountain gorillas for a maximum of one hour as your take photos and observe how they interact in natural habitat, then after return back to the park headquarters and after that to your Lodge for lunch and unwinding. In the evening you may enjoy a community walk in the nearby Batwa community, where you will be entertained by their unique culture. Dinner and overnight will be at your lodge as on day one.

Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

After early morning breakfast at your lodge, you will drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park the Uganda’s most popular tourist destination through Ishasha sector, where you will get a chance to see tree climbing lions and other animals in addition a variety of bird species. You will reach in Queen Elizabeth National Park early enough for lunch at Mweya Safari Lodge. Toward the evening, enjoy for a boat cruise along the Kazinga channel, where you will have a chance to see a variety of water loving animals and birds, for example, king fisher, herons, blue oraco and many more. You will additionally see animals like; hippos, crocodiles, buffalos, elephants as they lounge along the channel banks. You will have your dinner and overnight at Kyambura Game Lodge/ Ihamba Lodge/ Kingfisher Lodge.

Day 4: Morning Game Grive and Chimpanzee Tracking.

Very early in the morning, your will transfer for a game drive along Kasenyi track in quest for Africa lions, leopards, elephants and buffaloes among others, come back to the lodge for late breakfast and unwind as you wait for lunch. Toward the afternoon, go to Kyambura gorge for chimpanzee tracking where you will additionally encounter others primates, for example, the baboons, colobus monkeys, vervet monkeys among others. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Transfer to Kampala.

On this day, you will wake up in the morning for breakfast and prepare your self for a journey to Kampala with stopovers for photography and lunch in Mbarara town. You will reach Kampala in the evening for last minute shopping and later transfer to Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight.
