Day 1: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After early morning breakfast at your lodge, you will drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park Uganda’s most popular tourist destination through the Ishasha sector, where you will get a chance to see tree climbing lions and other animals in addition a variety of bird species. You will have an en-route stopover to the Equator for photographs from here you will continue with the trip to Mbarara town for lunch and later connect to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will have dinner and overnight at Kyambura Game Lodge/ Ihamba Lodge/ Kingfisher Lodge.
Day 2: Morning Game Drive and Chimpanzee Tracking
Very early in the morning, your will transfer for a game drive along Kasenyi track in quest for Africa lions, leopards, elephants, and buffaloes among others, come back to the lodge for late breakfast and unwind as you wait for lunch. Toward the evening, enjoy a boat cruise along the Kazinga channel, where you will have a chance to see a variety of water-loving animals and birds, for example, kingfisher, herons, blue turaco, and many more. You will additionally see animals like; hippos, crocodiles, buffalos, elephants as they lounge along the channel banks. You will have your dinner and overnight at Kyambura Game Lodge / Ihamba Lodge/ Kingfisher Lodge.
Day 3: Transfer to Kampala
After breakfast at the lodge, you will for chimpanzee tracking at Kyambura gorge where you will also encounter other primates, for example, the baboons, colobus monkeys, vervet monkeys among others. Return to the lodge and prepare yourself for a journey back to Kampala with en-route lunch in Mbarara town. You will reach Kampala in the evening for last-minute shopping and later transfer to Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight.
